WD-MIMO⁺ 5G Frequency-Shifting Indoor Coverage System
The WD-MIMO⁺ 5G frequency-shifting indoor coverage system delivers 5G MIMO over the single RF cable used by the original DAS installation. One of the two 5G-NR channels is frequency-shifted (2515–2675 MHz, 160 MHz bandwidth) and combined with the other signals before being fed into a single cable to the remote unit, where the shifted frequency is restored to achieve 2T2R MIMO coverage. 2T2R is supported on a single cable and 4T4R on dual cables. The system is seamlessly compatible with the original 2G/3G/4G network, supports network management, dynamic power balance, and greatly reduces construction and operating costs compared with digital indoor coverage systems.

- ▪Dynamic power compensation on each remote unit — automatically restores 5G high-frequency signal power over long cable runs.

- ▪One near-end unit supports up to 64 remote units (antennas).
- ▪Smart power-saving mode automatically shuts down the 5G frequency-shifting channel during low-traffic periods.
- ▪Short-circuit protection: near-end unit automatically cuts remote power on cable/device short circuit and alarms locally.
