Anti-Corrosion Fittings — Thermal Diffusion Coating

For severely corroded environments, ZTT applies a thermal diffusion coating (GREENKOTE) instead of, or in addition to, hot-dip galvanising. Zinc and aluminium particles diffuse into the steel surface to form an aluminium-rich alloy layer that resists salt spray up to 4000 hours, holds a coating-thickness tolerance of ±5 μm, presents no risk of hydrogen embrittlement, and offers super adhesion and wear resistance.

Features & Characteristics

  • Thermal diffusion (GREENKOTE) Zn-Al coating diffused into the steel base.
  • Salt-spray resistance up to 4000 hours.
  • Coating-thickness tolerance ± 5 μm.
  • No risk of hydrogen embrittlement.
  • Super adhesion and super anti-wear capability.

Applications

  • Coastal, offshore and salt-laden overhead line hardware.
  • Heavily industrialised and chemically corroded environments.
  • Long-service-life projects where standard hot-dip galvanising is insufficient.
