High-Strength Compression Tension Clamp
The ZTT high-strength compression tension clamp is designed for large-section AACSR and ACSR conductors used on UHV and river-crossing spans. Type testing on a 48.9 mm diameter AACSR-900/510 conductor (RTS 1192.19 kN) recorded a tensile failure at 1227.663 kN, equal to 102.98% of the conductor's rated tensile strength — the tension clamp is stronger than the conductor it terminates.
